Tianzige Worksheet Generator
Paste characters, a poem, or this week's vocabulary list…
How to use it
- 1
Paste any characters
A vocabulary list, a poem, a textbook passage — every Chinese character becomes a practice box in order. Punctuation, Latin letters and digits are skipped automatically.
- 2
Pick the grid
田字格 splits each box into four quadrants — the standard beginner grid. 米字格 adds diagonal guides for stroke angle, and plain boxes suit free practice or exams.
- 3
Trace first, then write from memory
Each character prints as hollow outline copies to trace (the classic 描红 method) followed by empty boxes to write unaided. Adjust both counts to match your learner's level.
- 4
Print on A4, nothing else on the page
The print layout keeps only the worksheet: grid guides, traced characters and pinyin all print exactly as shown — no header, no ads. Save as PDF straight from the print dialog.
Pairs well with
Add pinyin above the characters and print a reading sheet — the classic companion to a handwriting worksheet, made from the same text.
